Everything it writes for each image
A title of 70 characters max
A plain, descriptive sentence about what's in the image, within the limit Adobe Stock uses for titles and the CSV.
Up to 49 keywords, ranked
The 10 most descriptive go first (subject, action, objects, place, concept), then the rest. Duplicates, repeated plurals and filler are removed.
An Adobe Stock category
The best fit among Adobe's categories (People, Business, Food, Travel and so on), as the number the CSV expects.
A CSV ready to upload
One file for the whole batch, with the columns Adobe Stock reads: Filename, Title, Keywords, Category and Releases.
Keywords inside the file
Title and keywords are also embedded in the image's IPTC and XMP fields. You can check them with our free image metadata viewer.
You can edit everything
Change the title, reorder or delete keywords and switch the category before you download.
How the AI image tag generator works
The tool looks at the image itself. If you generated it in Stock Creatives, it also takes into account how it was made, but what's actually in the picture always wins over the prompt: a keyword for something that isn't visible only hurts you.
After that, a cleanup step enforces Adobe's limits even if the AI gets something wrong: lowercase keywords, one idea per keyword, no duplicates, no brand names, no vague adjectives among the first 10, a maximum of 49 keywords and a title of 70 characters or fewer.
- The image comes first, the prompt second
- One idea per keyword, no duplicates
- Adobe's limits enforced automatically

UpscaleKeyword best practices for Adobe Stock
- Put the 10 most important keywords first. Adobe says the first ten carry the most weight in search. Describe what a buyer would type: the subject, what's happening, where, and the idea behind it.
- Use one language, the one set in your contributor account. Don't mix languages in the same file. Stock Creatives writes titles and keywords in English, with American spelling.
- Stay between 5 and 50 keywords. Adobe's tips page talks about up to 49. More isn't better: 35 accurate keywords beat 49 with filler.
- Only describe what's visible. Keywords for things that aren't in the image count as keyword spam.
- No artist names, real people, fictional characters, brands or trademarks in titles or keywords. For AI content Adobe can remove the asset or close the account for this.
- Skip words buyers don't search for, like “photo”, “stock”, “4k” or “AI generated”. The AI label goes in its own checkbox, not in your keywords.
- Write the title like a short caption, not a list of keywords, and keep it under 70 characters.
Example: one row of the Adobe Stock CSV
The first line of the file holds the column names; then there's one row per image. Keywords go in a single cell, separated by commas.
| Filename | Title | Keywords | Category | Releases |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| smiling-nurse-tablet.jpg | Smiling nurse using a digital tablet in a bright hospital corridor | nurse, digital tablet, hospital, healthcare, smiling, corridor, woman, medical staff, scrubs, technology, clinic, medicine, nursing, caregiver… (up to 49) | 13 | (empty) |
Category 13 is People. Releases is for the names of model or property releases; for AI images of fictional people it's normally left empty.
Keywords are free. Generating and upscaling cost a fraction.
The keyword tool is the free part of Stock Creatives. The same app also generates images and SVG vectors and upscales them 3x with its own upscaler, so a batch goes from prompt to CSV without switching tools.
€49 a month covers 200 High-quality images, each upscaled 3x, with titles, keywords and the CSV included. See the AI stock photo generator for how it works, or the pricing page for every plan.
- Generate images and real SVG vectors
- Upscale to 3x, well above Adobe's 4 MP minimum
- Download a ZIP plus the CSV

Frequently asked questions
Is the keyword generator free?+
Titles, keywords and the CSV don't use credits: they're included in Stock Creatives. You need a free account to use it, and when you confirm your email you get trial credits to generate images too. See pricing for the plans.
Can I use it for images I made somewhere else, like Midjourney?+
Yes. You can upload your own images to upscale them in the app, and they get a title, keywords and a CSV row like everything else.
Why 49 keywords and not 50?+
Adobe's portal accepts 5 to 50, but its tips page talks about up to 49. Staying at 49 keeps you inside both. In practice fewer, more accurate keywords often work better.
Does it work for Shutterstock, Freepik or other sites?+
The title and keywords are useful anywhere, and they're embedded in the file. The CSV follows Adobe Stock's format. Keep in mind that Shutterstock doesn't accept AI-generated images, and Freepik asks for keywords in English.
Will good keywords get my images accepted?+
No tool can guarantee that. Adobe's reviewers also look at technical quality, similar submissions (three iterations at most) and AI-specific problems such as hands or embedded text. Good keywords help buyers find images that are accepted.
