What is Nero AI Image Upscaler?
Nero is the company behind the Nero Burning ROM and Nero Platinum software. Its AI Image Upscaler comes in two forms, which is why searches for it return mixed answers:

Who is Nero AI Image Upscaler for?
Nero positions it for general use: product photos, old photos, anime and game art, large-format print and real-estate pictures. If you want to enlarge the occasional photo online, or you already use Nero's software on Windows and want local processing without uploading files, it is a reasonable fit.
That general scope is also its limit if you sell AI images. Nothing on the pages we read mentions stock sites, Adobe Stock's rules, or titles, keywords and a CSV, so those steps would need other tools.
What are the limits for stock sellers?
- No stock workflow on the pages we read. No Adobe Stock title, keywords or CSV, and no automatic check for the things reviewers refuse (halos, artificial noise, soft or over-sharpened results).
- Factors can go further than stock needs. 8× gives 64 times the pixels: a 1 MP image would become about 64 MP, close to Adobe Stock's 100 MP ceiling, and 63 of every 64 pixels would be invented. Adobe's rule is “Don't increase resolution in ways that degrade quality.”
- Online means uploading. The online tool keeps files for 24 hours, according to Nero. The desktop app works locally, but only on Windows.
- Credits aren't priced on the page. You see the 10 free credits but not what an upscale costs, so you can't estimate a batch until you try.
- We haven't tested the output. Check hands, faces, text and edges at 100% before you rely on any upscaler, Nero's included.

How to test Nero's free credits on a stock image

- 2Upscale it by 2× or 4×Note the output size: 2× gives 4.2 MP, 4× gives 16.8 MP. Adobe Stock needs 4 MP or more.

What Stock Creatives does differently
Stock Creatives is an upscaler built for stock. It upscales your own files 2x, 3x or 4x with its own engine on cloud GPUs, in a default Faithful mode that adds detail without redrawing hands, faces or text. Every result is checked for 4–100 MP, 45 MB, sharpening halos and artificial noise, and marked OK or Review.

You can use any upscaler if the result is at least 4 MP, a clean sRGB JPEG and holds up at 100%. Adobe refuses quality loss, not upscaling. You'd need other tools for title, keywords and the CSV.
